I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Des Moines, IA) in Aug 2014
Interview
The interview process was pretty laid back; I was asked basic scenario based questions. I had an interview with 2 managers; the questions asked for both interviews were very similar. It was somewhat of a repetitive process. I came prepared and ended up feeling that I was the only one that took the interview seriously; one of the managers was chomping on her gum and I felt that she wasn't really listening to what I was saying. I understand that it's a retail store job, but professionalism should still be exhibited by management.

Question 1
Name a time that a challenge arose and what you did to overcome it.
The process was quick. I got a phone call to come in person and interview. I dressed nicely and waited to be called into the interview room. The interview was quick, we talked about the customer service experience and then I left. I got the called a few days after saying I got it.
I got a phone call to schedule the interview, in person. And then had brief conversation with several of the store's managers, relatively standard interview, not too much I can say. The entire interview took a little less than one hour.
The interview was super easy. I sat inside one of the staff's rooms for the meeting. They just asked me a bunch of hypothetical questions about certain situations with other coworkers and about my personality.
