I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Fort Dodge, IA)
Interview
I was contacted and not even a week later was brought in for an interview. Since my interview was about a year ago i only had one interview, not the 5 or 6 they give now. It was a face to face interview with two team leads not at the same time. They were very friendly and made me feel at ease because i was a little nervous. After my interview they told me they would call me on a certain day. When they didn't call i thought that it had been a no and that they just forgot to call, however, i called them back and they said that my interview had to go through the higher ups so it was still not a done deal. I ended up calling two more times that same week to see if my interview had gone through and finally on the last call they told me to come in for orientation.

Question 1
Most of the questions i was asked were describe a time when... Here is an example Describe a time when you had a difficult decision to make.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
