I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target in Jun 2013
Interview
After completing an online application I received a call less than a week after. A short phone conversation led to us picking a time for an interview. At the interview, there were a series of situational questions. Having applied to Target many years prior, after doing my research I knew what to expect. I was interviewed by I think 2-3 people, one being head of HR. After about 30 minutes I was offered a position.

Question 1
The situational/behavior questions were a little tricky, however after looking at sample interview questions posted on this website, none of the questions were very unexpected.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
It was interesting. Not hard at all, straightforward, and pretty open people. It was an okay interview and what you’d typically expect. So don’t stress stress it, I mean kinda try your best
