I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Anaheim, CA) in Nov 2012
Interview
Three interviews. First phone, followed by team lead of position, then manager. Nothing hard, but tedious, followed by a week of training. Don't get offered a position until interview with a manager. Process is hectic, with interviews happening back to back. I really shouldn't have to type so many words for such a cookie cutter interview process.
It was two interviews. The first one was a recorded interview for 15 minutes and the second interview was in person. The questions were very similar. It is common questions that they would ask for being in retail.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
