I filled out an application on the in-store kiosk. After I was done, I went to the Service Desk and they had a manager available to interview me right away.
I had one manager ask me a few basic questions and scenario type questions, after that, another manager came in and asked a few more.
After I was done with the interview, they told me they would give me a call.
I received a call the next day saying I had got the job, pending a drug test. (I had to go pee in a cup and have the results submitted to Target)

Question 1
How would you handle a customer that is complaining?
It was two interviews. The first one was a recorded interview for 15 minutes and the second interview was in person. The questions were very similar. It is common questions that they would ask for being in retail.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
