I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2015
Interview
First they call to give the time and date of the interview. When I got there they asked for me to go to the break room. I waited for about 15 minutes, because there were more people in front of me. Once you are back in a office type room for the interview, they ask questions like what work have you done prior, In a situations what would you do, and etc. If you do well you will advice to a second interview. They ask the same questions over again but with a different interviewer. Overall they were really nice.
It was two interviews. The first one was a recorded interview for 15 minutes and the second interview was in person. The questions were very similar. It is common questions that they would ask for being in retail.
Was just a quick 10 minute call from the store manager, didn't take long at all. He asked if I had the availability he was looking for and if I could be punctual. Smooth process
It was overall very brief from applying to hearing back. Was just a day of meeting with a couple managers and talking through a cashier job. Nothing too out of the ordinary for a role like this.
