I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target in Oct 2013
Interview
My interview was scheduled for 10AM and I was still waiting at 11AM. No one let me know what was taking so long. After one interview they told me to wait, didn't say for what. I waited and they called me in for a second interview with a different manager. After that they told me to wait, again not saying for what. They finally brought me into another room and offered me the job, signed a contract etc. The whole process took most of the day.
I remember my dad making a comment about how the hiring process for this minimum wage job was more extensive than his 100k+ a year job.
The interview were very straightforward and the atmosphere was relaxed. I spoke with a shift lead and then the HR manager. The questions were typical and there was some discussions.
This was a few years ago, but I just went in and spoke with the manager in their office. Very casual and quick interview. Only 1 interview was required which was nice!

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had to interact with customers
It was very quick and I was hired on immediately. I was a college student going to TAMU Galveston at the time. The team was pretty easy going but just not there to help me grow as an individual.
