i had direct PI since i had career 75% .Then there was a technical interview and who fared well in that were called for a HR round . This was the rule for all the direct PI students . But the ones who had to give written , were called for any number of times for viva. Some were called 5-6 times . Soome got selected in the 1st try The questions asked in technical round ranged from quite easy to very tough. Branch subject related questions were asked but since the interviewers were not that proficient in those subjects , it was not a problem and the questions were quite basic . The computer language questions like those related to C and C++ were tough.Some people asked string questions . I was very lucky with my interview as there was a nice lady who asked easy questions and was very polite . She even asked some HR questions like strength ,weakness,role model etc . Where I fell short was , when she asked me questions related to TCS like who is the chairman , md etc . Though I had mugged them up , I couldnt remember .
