I emailed the HR department and was contacted in about 10 days. I went in for an interview with the hiring manager the following week, which even though I was 8 minutes late (I got lost :-( ), I thought went well. He asked me questions why I'd want to leave my current job and how my experience would be useful in this position. I brought in examples of previous work that he seemed to appreciate. I think I was undercut by someone else because I asked for a salary on the high end of the range they indicated. Due to my experience, I think it was a very reasonable amount to ask for. The only negative part of this process was the fact that they never contacted me to let me know I was no longer being considered for a second interview. I emailed and finally called weeks later, and the receptionist told me she "thought" the position was already filled.
