I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Techolution (Hyderābād) in Nov 2018
Interview
The process was poorly organized with little efforts from the hiring team. Let me walk you through what happens when you interview with them.
- First Round: (Face to face, ~ 45 Mins, It could easily have been a phone discussion)
- They will share with you a list of questions and you have to prepare out of them.
- I thought the motive was to learn these concepts and then they will ask questions based on these concepts.
- But to my surprise, they simply asked the definition of the terms which is not cool. You should ask about the applications of the concepts and not about the exact definition and specific terms used.
- Second Round (Again face to face, Codepair Round, Could have been done over the internet)
- There is seriously a need for professionalism in the interviewer. I understand that people can be late but at least show that you are sorry. You should respect other's time.
- This guy was totally arrogant, behaved like he knew everything and he had no idea how to interview a person.
- He asked me a couple of questions to which I started out by explaining the approach, but he was not interested in listening and constantly busy on his phone looking at something.
- I solved all the questions but decided not to go forward with this company at that very moment.
I understand that startups can be tough on you but you should not forget basic professionalism and courtesy. Not a good place to work for IMO.
I applied online. I interviewed at Techolution (Hyderābād) in Jun 2024
Interview
Technical Round
- Was asked basics of Javascript, HTML and CSS. Then, we got into React basics. Later, I was given two React tasks on CodeSandbox. Difficulty was medium. Maily tested fundamentals of these technologies.
