Interview process was long. Took 6 months. Tesla lost my paperwork so I had to call Fremont HQ to finally get a hold of a recruiter. I got a call from the new recruiter 3 weeks later asking if I was still interested in working at Tesla. I accepted the offer not knowing that our pay was not what was promised to us.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Tesla (Henderson, NV) in Dec 2024
Interview
Recruiter Rachel Hawkins was wonderful and I was truly excited about this opportunity; I was asked to meet with two Sales Managers and I have to say that was the most awkward and unprofessional interview I’ve ever experienced, Not friendly, Barely reciprocated to receive my hand shake before and after. Unprofessional, didn’t take notes and I managed to finally get one of the managers to smile towards the very end. Let’s just say they just both looked at me robotic, with no enthusiasm kinda like this emoji 😳 and I brought lots of high energy, but it wast reciprocated. It definitely seems like it’s a bro world. Tesla loss not mine. I’ve got 15 yrs of sales experience and always ranked Top 10% this role was entry level.
The position required a 3-part interview stage - this included the first being with a HR manager, the second with a senior advisor and the final with the manager in charge. All completed virtually online via teams. No need to visit location

Interview
Straight forward. Exciting. Educational and to the point. Recruiter scheduled a phone call after looking at my resume, and discussed with me what the job opportunity would look like. Then proceeded with questions.
