Got an e-mail to pick a phone interview date and time which I did right away. Recruiter called the same day, we had a very nice chat. She confirmed I completely understand (due to my previous technology experience) what is the role (Store Leader, Dartmouth, NS, Canada) about, the company philosophy, etc. She told she is moving me up to the next step but after that never got either an interviews or been contacted further. I followed up couple of times then she replied she is no longer responsible for that line of business. Ridiculous isn't it...)))

Well, I have interviewed 3 separate times in the last 12 months for the same role...store leader. I wasn't offered any of the roles and that's okay because what I walked away with is more valuable than actually being offered the job. What I walked away with was freedom. Something that none of the Tesla employees ever talked about. What I found interesting is that I interviewed 3 separate times, for 3 different store leader roles, none of them offered, but yet even after not being offered the first time around they interviewed me for 2 other locations for the same role. I continued to interview for more roles because I figured that maybe the first location I interviewed with was just full of some disgruntled employees. Nope. Same type of employee at each location. The process on their end was the same every time...that being, interviewing with people who look as though they hate their job, hate their life, never sleep or eat, but because they get paid well they continue to stick it out. Not once did any employee speak highly of working for Tesla. Not once. All but one person I interviewed with was very conceded. The worst of them all was their HR Business Partner, probably one of the most arrogant individuals I have ever interviewed with anywhere at anytime with any company. That was enough for me to make a decision of my own should they have offered the job.
