Very dragged-out and long process (7 weeks). Minimum 1 week to hear back from recruiter between stages. Find this weird because they need people urgently. Seems unorganized and team doesn't have planned the next steps. Went through multiple interviews and haven't gotten updates or responses on what the status is. I find this very unprofessional. At a bare minimum, a rejection email is expected out of courtesy for time invested. I hope this culture changes at Tesla given the time and effort people put in to get the positions. This is my second time applying to Tesla over three years and same story both times. Sad to see they spend so much time interviewing but cant write out a 5 minute rejection email or call.
