I was reached out to by a recruiter for a position that I didn't directly apply for. I had applied to other positions within Tesla and my resume and location must have contained certain key words that made me a candidate for this position. After I was contacted by a recruiter I had to perform a 3-4 hour PLC programming test, it wasn't too difficult but I prepared well before hand. After that I had an informal 30 minute interview where I discussed and displayed previous internship experience. The next day I got an offer that I accepted. I then had to take a pre employment urine drug test and after that was cleared I got the job.
