I applied online through the Tesla website, and received an email from a recruiter one month later asking me to setup a 15-minute interview with them using their calendar. The duration seemed to be a bit shorter than what I'm normally used to, but I said lets give it a go.
The interview was a Video call on Microsoft Teams, and it lasted about 30 minutes; at the end of the interview the recruiter mentioned they will get back to me within 1-2 weeks about the results, overall I felt the interview went amazingly well as I managed to answer all the technical questions, and we were even talking about numbers and what Tesla would be willing to offer to meet my expectations (I took this as a strong hint that I did well).
Two weeks after the interview, I reached out to the recruiter myself asking for an update but they did not respond, a week later I received an automatic rejection email, which I did not expect at all.
One thing that seemed pretty odd to me was the fact that I had applied for a "Logistics Director" role at the Tesla website, and when I tried checking the status of my application during/after the interview I found the role has been renamed to a "Senior Logistics Manager" instead.
