I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Tesla (Reno, NV) in Apr 2024
Interview
Too Technical and to the point with lots of twisting and confusing question. Being confident while answering is the key to success. It started with the question based on resume and finally went in detail with the technical aspect!

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Tesla (Lathrop, CA) in Mar 2026
Interview
The interview process consisted of an initial recruiter screening followed by a technical panel interview with multiple engineers from manufacturing and process teams. The discussion focused heavily on real-world problem solving, data-driven decision making, and manufacturing concepts such as OEE, process optimization, and root cause analysis. I was asked to walk through past projects in detail, especially those involving throughput improvement, yield optimization, and cross-functional collaboration. The panel emphasized practical thinking, ownership, and the ability to scale solutions for high-volume production environments. Behavioral questions were also included to assess teamwork and adaptability in fast-paced settings.
Did presentation on project of my choice, then 6 30 minute interview with different people. Questions were asked mostly on the presentation & general concepts behind process engineering. Make sure you are thorough with your resume & concepts
