I originally applied for a different role, but because of my skill set, I was thought to be a better fit for another role. I first went through a screening call with a recruiter, which was very pleasant, she made me feel instantly at ease and excited about the company. Even though I didn't get the role I went for originally, I was glad to continue the process and see where it can take me. My second interview was with a Hiring Manager, who explained to me the new role and made sure I was interested in it. Her own passion for the job really made me excited about the opportunity and I definitely wanted to proceed with the process. Then I had two interviews with team members, which gave me a better insight into the company and the team's hopes for me and my future role. It really helped me to see the company from different perspectives and the company values shined through the process. My final interview was with the VP, and that added another layer and showed that when they say flat structure, they really do mean it. The VP was very interested to get to know me and it made me feel valued and really enhanced the whole interview process for me. Overall, all interviews made me feel relaxed and felt like talking to people who really want you to succeed and want the best for you. The company talks about their values a lot, and I can see why, as they really are the foundation for everything. At the end of the process, I was very excited to accept the role, as everybody's passion for their job and the company was really inspiring.
