      Rotational Program Interview

      Jun 23, 2023
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Kuala Lumpur
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Texas Instruments (Kuala Lumpur) in May 2023

      Interview

There were 3 stages of the interview, pre-call screening, interview with managers, and finally the head of the finance f2f interview. During the 2nd stage, there were a bunch of technical questions, most of which requires critical thinking. The 3rd stage was basically a small talk with the head consisting most of personal questions about ourselves. However, after finishing the final stage, I was continuously delayed by HR regarding the result. It took about a month. I don't think TI is seriously considering hiring anyone for this role. All the technical questions were asked in 2nd stage and if the answers were not good enough, they should just end at stage 2. I believe I have maintained a friendly and good attitude during stage 3. Did not receive any constructive feedback from the effort put in the job. DO NOT APPLY TO THIS JOB, WASTE OF TIME.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What if there was a delay in shipments of products to customers, what would you do in order to solve this issue? Strength and weakness. Some basic mathematical question about the yield of a silicon wafer.
