Interview at national conference for my professional organization. The interview team consisted of just two members of the department. They did not seem to be coordinated with respect to how they would perform the interview. Nor where they on the same page with respect to answering my questions. This was particularly true with respect to timelines for advancement for advanced assistant professors.

The job posting was for either an online or in-person faculty member, but after going through the application process, which was incredibly tedious in terms of what they wanted, they just wanted someone in person.
