      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Texas State

      Interview

Pre-Hiring process: Online application required as well as resume, cover letter, Microsoft Excel skills test. The website was easy to navigate and use. The application took a few hours to complete; uploading my resume and other required documents was simple. Interview process: l received a phone call about a week after the closing date of the job posting asking if I was still interested, if I wanted to be interviewed and to set up taking the Excel test. The test was set for later that week. Once they got my score, the interview was set up for the following week. I was notified at the end of the day of my interview that they would like to offer me the position. I said I would like to accept. Hiring Process: They can only offer the position pending positive results of a background check, which took about a week. The office of equity and access also has to review the methods used by the office to make sure they followed the proper rules and procedures. Once all of this was vetted and I was cleared, I started the job 2 weeks later.

      Interview questions [1]
