      San Marcos, TX
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Texas State (San Marcos, TX) in Aug 2012

      Interview

The interview process is literally picking a professor and asking if they have any research opportunities. It really isn't much more than that except filing some paperwork when they give you the yes to go ahead. Just be confident that the person you want to work for is actually worth working for.

      Interview

The interview process itself was easy. I applied for a writing position, and I was called in less than a week after submitting my application and writing samples. I was not asked any behavioral questions during my interview -- only the basic "tell us about yourself" and what ever other questions came to mind on the spot.
