I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Textron Aviation (Wichita, KS) in Nov 2021
Interview
Interview was conducted online and I didn't even get to speak to a real person. I was given a prompt and 60 seconds of preparation before having to record 1-2 minute responses.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Textron Aviation (Cape Town) in Sep 2022
Interview
I participated in a video interview, Human Resource virtual video interview, in-person meeting and team lead virtual video interview. Throughout the interview process, I received minimal communication to next steps or what to expect. After being led to believe that I would be a top candidate for the role and making efforts to meet a top executive in-person (last minute arrangements), I was then notified that I wouldn't be moving on. I had to request a call with the human resource individual and program leader to get a bit of clarity and have an opportunity to express my frustrations - these being met with apologies and best wishes.
