I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Buckle in May 2011
Interview
anyone who passes the assessment will get an interview
it was on the floor (weird in my opinion) and was uncomfortable for me just standing answering questions while people shop. it lasted no more then 5 minutes by a dude with colorful tats all over his calves and gauge piercings all in his ears, not someone who i thought would be a manager there.
i knew i wasn't going to get the job, lets just say i've never seen anyone with a tan as dark as mine working there but i was in need to a job so i figured wat the heck.
i'm mad that i wasted $20 on a unpleasing shirt from there which i have not worn since but afterwards i got a good deal on a True Religion perfume set and if it wasn't for that interview i would have never know of the deal at macy's so something good did come out of it.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How well do you do interacting with people you do not know?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
