Came in, told associate I was there for interview. He went get the manager. Came back said manager was on a phone call. I patiently waited near the checkout for 25 minutes. The female associate behind the counter never did acknowledge my presence. She didn't smile, look at me, or speak. I thought this was very rude considering we could've been future co-workers. During my 25-minute wait for the manager, the young man who I spoke to (when I first entered the store) came and apologized for my wait. A young woman came from the storage room. She didn't speak or look at me. Finally, the store manager came and greeted me. He reviewed my application. Asked why I was interested in working for Buckle, education, past work history, etc. The interview took place in the corner near the cash register. He ended with the dreaded w e-mail you which basically means "no we are not going to hire you". (Also, it's funny that the two female associates who totally ignored my presence before completely eavesdropped during my interview.) Basically, the entire experience was negative. I would not recommend seeking employment at Buckle to anyone.
