The culture and clothing are very... specific. Interview was done inside the store. Awkward especially since customers and sales associates walk by constantly.
During the interview, was asked the usual Why Buckle? Why should we choose you? What's your favorite brand? etc.
They're looking for that right personality. Pay is low and is mostly based on commission so if you're not the type to be THAT employee, then don't even try. However, if you like their style and can push sales, you got this. Although I had sales experience, I wasn't necessarily too enthusiastic or knowledgeable about their specific brands so it made sense that I wasn't offered the job.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
