Interview
I initially had two interviews for a part time position. First with the Assistant Manager then with the Store Manager. I was called and offered the position within a week. When I decided to join the management development program I interviewed with the area & district manager and was offered the position with a very large pay increase.

" How has your previous experience made you successful to work at the Buckle?" - they are not looking for what you think they want to hear. They want to know what you truly feel qualifies you to become their business partner. They are looking for key words like " dedication, drive, determination, people skills, patience, consistency, persistence, progressive"

They recruited me while I was shopping and they conducted the interview right on the floor. i was offered a position right after interview that only lasted 35 mins. I thought it would have been a bit longer and that there may have been a second interview with a hiring manager or district.

Interview
Fast tracked interview process. You cannot apply to be a manager, but you can apply to be a manager in training. I applied to be an intern and was hired almost instantly. Interviews are held on the sales floor. Dress to impress in something fashion forward. Expect salesmanship questions.

Interview
Met with the manager in the store, and we just talked for around 20-30 minutes about my history, what types of things I would have to do as an intern. He then walked me around the store and introduced me to another person in the store, and let me ask them questions about their buckle experience.
