I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle
Interview
Filled out on online application and within an hour received an email to call and set up an interview. Set up the interview for the following week in the morning when the store wasn't as busy. Arrived to the interview 10 minutes early and the two employees at the front were very friendly and had me look around the store while they pulled up my application. Young man in his 20's interviewed me right there in a corner of the store so that I could get the feel of being on the sales floor. Very easy, relaxed interview. Did not feel like I was being interviewed. It felt more like a friendly conversation between two people. Easy questions that you would expect from a retail position.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No difficult questions. Basic, why should we hire you? What is good customer service to you?
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

How well do you do interacting with people you do not know?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
