I applied online, like everyone else. I imediately was prompted to call and set up an interview, like everyone else. I dressed VERY buckle. Big Star jeans, buckle shirt, heeled boots. The lady interviewing me greeted me, and said it'd be just a second to print off my app. We then found a booth outside the store in the mall. Basically just asked me what the application asked me. Pointless. No "Situation" questions or anything. OH! And right before she even started the interview, she stated that I'd be contacted about getting hired or not the same way I applied- online through email. That set it for me, I knew I wouldn't even be considered.

Question 1
None. All were things I had already answered in the application.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

Question 1
How well do you do interacting with people you do not know?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Buckle (Lima, OH)
Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
