I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Buckle (Hoover, AL) in Jan 2014
Interview
I completed the application online. It involved filling out basic info (name, address, pass work, availability,etc..). After completing I got an email saying to call the store to schedule an interview. I did so. I went in and spoke to the manager and he said look around for a minute. I did so, they were observing me as I "looked around". THIS WAS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL INTERVIEW I HAVE EVER DONE. The manager did the interview on side of the store, while we were standing. It lasted for about 5 minutes. I guess he wash't interested. He said he would email me letting me know whether I got the job or not. I was dressed as if I worked at Express or The limited (maybe too professional for Buckle)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about so leadership positions you have held? Why do you want to work here? What are some of your hobbies?
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

Question 1
How well do you do interacting with people you do not know?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Buckle (Lima, OH)
Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
