I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at The Buckle (Cedar Hill, TX) in Jun 2013
Interview
I stressed out the whole entire week about what I would wear to this interview. I wore fashionably ripped jeans, sparkly belt, and one of those cold shoulder tops (Hint: If you walk in and the manager says "cute outfit!" you most likely didn't get the job) . I came in for my interview and had to wait for about 10 minutes to speak to the manager. The interview was held standing at the back of the store while others were shopping. We talked for a bit. He was fake nice. He told me he had a ton of other applicants and that he would get back to me in a few days. It was at least 3 weeks and I got an email stating that I did not get the job.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Strengths weaknesses, "tell me about yourself" All the basic nonsense people ask. No extremely difficult questions were asked
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
