I applied online. I interviewed at The Buckle (Atlanta, GA) in Nov 2014
Interview
I was told to wait because the manager was busy ( even for a scheduled interview red flag ) and to look around the store . Upon looking I noticed this was a store for teens and college students. I wore black slacks , nice top , flats and a coverup . It was odd that they interview you in the store on the sales floor with all the other employees within ear shot judging you on your professional interview clothes vs your skills. It was generic questions and the manager keep looking like she was writing stuff down BUT SHE WASNT.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
