1 interview with an assistant manager in the store, then about a week later, I had another interview with the manager in an office. Most people that work or manage buckle are very friendly, and are extremely easy to talk to, especially in an interview setting. They want to make you feel comfortable.

Basic questions about my schooling, and why I wanted to work there. Asked questions about how to deal with customers and why I would be good at sales. They want to get a feel for how you are with people, and if you are an aggressive person that can be loud in the store and not be afraid to be selling all day in front of your teammates. As long as you make sure that you are very outgoing, and an aggressive sales-driven person, they will want to hire you. The internship is basically the same thing as a sales associate, but you are working more closely with the managers, and you have a higher pay.

Since Buckle has a great internship process I knew a girl who had completed the internship prior to me. I reached out and submitted my resume, heard back from the Store Manager within a week. Usually they have booths at career fairs!

The weirdest interview I ever experienced. The interview was on the floor. I got there 10 minutes early and had to wait for 40 minutes to start the interview. I spent the whole 40 minutes wandering around, which is unusual for me. The manger just asked a fundamental question like tell me about yourself, and why you choose Buckle? The biggest problems from the interview, for me, because I don't know it ever happens to anyone else, were the manager ask too deep about personal information. He wondered why my family (emphasize on my parents) and I moved to the U.S., and will I work in the U.S. or I work somewhere else after graduate college? I felt uncomfortable about the interview. Is it just because I am Asian, graduated high school in my country, and majoring in International Business in college? It is not worth to get an internship there.
