I applied online mid-January this year. A few hours later, I received an email asking that I call and schedule an appointment date for my interview. It was Sunday, so I waited until Monday at 2pm before giving them a call.
When I called, one of the employees answered and I stated my name and my business. She asked me to hold while she got the manager. After about two minutes of background noise, the employee returns and tells me that the manager is busy. Red flag. I had her leave a message for the manager anyway, but i never received a call back.
Fast-forward to this morning. I just received an email regarding the status of my application; it was a rejection letter. Mind you, I never received any communication from management or elsewhere, so that email was the icing on the cake.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you react if your manager was incompetent and refused to do their job?
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

How well do you do interacting with people you do not know?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Buckle (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2026
Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Buckle (Lima, OH)
Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
