I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Buckle in Mar 2015
Interview
I applied online & got an e-mail saying they wanted to schedule me for an interview. I arrived to the interview 30 minutes early. Two different associates had to keep going back and telling the manager I was here (he was on an important phone call.) He came out and apologized. I was patient, though (the Rock Revival and Miss Me jeans had my attention the whole time I was waiting.) After about 30 more minutes, the assistant manager came and gave me my interview on the sales floor. We kept having to move around, because customers kept coming where we were. They apologized again for the long wait and said they would contact me between 48-72 hours to let me know if I got the job.
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

Question 1
How well do you do interacting with people you do not know?

Interview
Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
