I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Buckle (Phoenix, AZ) in Jun 2015
Interview
I applied online and was offered an interview less than a week later. I walked into the store a few minutes before my interview time and asked to see a manager. He was still interviewing someone else, so I browsed the store while they finished up. When it was my turn, the manager came to get me and we just walked to the back of the store. It was a bit awkward because we had to keep moving out of the way of customers who wanted to look at the merchandise we were blocking, but I don't think that hindered the interview at all. Overall, the interview was very laid back and simple, and the manager was very friendly and made me feel more at ease.

How do you keep up with the latest fashion trends?
Super quick and easy. The woman who interviews me was very kind and understanding to it being my first retail job. I was offered a job on the spot and was able to ask any lingering questions I had about the role and profession.

Very simple. No behaviour questions. It was basically all about me. We talked about hobbies, availability, college plans. It was like a fun conversation and not a hard, daunting, scary interview.

Interview
They bring you in to ask basic interview questions. Make sure you completely dress the part. I was told before the interview by an associate that I should wear clothes they sell there. She didn't go into detail but I take that as they won't hire you if you don't.
