I applied online and then proceeded to check my email and saw that I had got an automated email to come in for an interview. I called as asked and scheduled a time the next day for the interview. For people that don't know what to wear? I don't normally shop at Buckle since it's a bit pricy. I decided to keep the Buckle look though. I wore a knee length black and white speckled cardigan and a plain white top under it with a long statement necklace with some bold color. Wore a pair of dark washed jeans and tall black boots with gold zippers on the side. Very simple but good for the interview. The interview is very informal. They take you right to the corner of the store. It was clear there was 2 back rooms since I saw a couple of employees going in and out of the rooms. We could of done the interview in the back but when she took me to the corner of the store, it kind of surprised me. I've never had an interview like that. Even though no customers were in the store at the time, employees were around to possibly listen in. All in all, it made me feel awkward but that didn't really bother me. I pushed that to the side and didn't worry about it to much since I want this job so badly. During the interview, I made very good eye contact and showed off my bubbly personality. During the interview, she started staring off in another direction but I kept eye contact the entire time. The interview lasted about 10 minutes or so. Easy retail questions. The interview finally was over and she told me she would call me on Friday. It's the day after the interview so I still have a few days. Not sure if I got the job but by the way she said she would be calling me made me very confident in getting the position.
