I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Walnut Creek, CA) in Apr 2012
Interview
Takes forever to actually be interviewed. Sit in the waiting area for anywhere from a half hour to an hour and a half. Interview itself is rather straight forward. Sometimes they'll have you come back for the next interview another day, other times it'll occur the second day. Typically a third interview is with the GM to determine final say so.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Typical questions such as what you would contribute to the company. They also ask if you'll commit to them for a year minimum.
The interview process was easy and definitely worth it. I actually had two interviews, one with a regular manager and then one with the GM. Asked about gap in resume.
I applied in-person. I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Glendale, WI) in Mar 2026
Interview
You initially interview with an assistant manager or something. It is a rather easy interview but then they say they will get back to you about setting up a second interview and they never do. Felt like the were giving me the run-around. Not professional.
I interviewed at The Cheesecake Factory (Orland Park, IL)
Interview
Very easy interview process. I sat down with one of the shift managers and we went over job duties, my experience and availability. They mostly ask about reliability and availability.
