Interview
The interview experience for this internship role was disappointing and felt unprofessional. The hiring manager did not properly introduce himself or explain his position, and immediately jumped into a series of technical coding questions. The tone and approach came across as dismissive toward internship candidates, as the questions on Python and SQL were asked rapidly without much explanation or structure.
Throughout the online interview, the manager spoke very quickly and unclearly, which made it hard to fully understand the questions. When clarification was requested, his reaction suggested annoyance rather than support. There was also another interviewer who kept laughing and smiling during parts of the session, which added to the uncomfortable atmosphere.
In addition, no earphones or proper audio equipment were used by the interviewers, even though the job description mentioned that interns should be provided a good working environment. The HR team did not seem to follow this standard, and overall the session lacked the professionalism and respect expected from a company hiring interns.
The first round only consisted of having an interview with "yourself" since they would present questions and have you record your answers. The response back if I had made it to the next round was quick.
