Interview
Interview started with a 30-minute phone call from the recruiter going over my resume + motivations in joining the firm. Next stage was an interview with a current consultant at the firm, with 5 minutes behavioral, 20 minutes case, and 5 minutes for questions at the end. Final interview was 2 back-to-back interviews (same format as previous one), with an Engagement Manager and a Partner. Cases covered brain teasers and business situation cases (pricing, market entry, and more). The recruiter was incredibly quick in scheduling interviews, keeping me in the loop during decision-making periods, and finally in extending an offer. Looking forward to joining the firm!

Tell me about yourself. Tell me why you want to join the Dedham Group. What stood out to you about the Dedham Group over other life science consulting firms? Explain specifically what you accomplished in [insert role]. Do you have strong attention to detail, and if so, how? What skills do you bring that you think are most important in consulting? Tell me about a time you disagreed with a coworker and how you resolved it. What did you learn? How many t-shirts are sold in [insert city] every year? A burger restaurant wants to open a location in [insert city]. How would you go about deciding if they should open this new location? A company is considering releasing a drug to treat [insert disease]. Should they release it?

2) 30-Min Interview w/ current employee with 15 min of background experience questions + case question
3) 2 back-to-back interviews with different employees + market sizing questions
While the majority of people I spoke to were kind, encouraging, and informative there was one individual I spoke to that came off as very frazzled, condescending, and generally not very nice.
