Applied online and a recruiter got in touch with me the same day with a phone screen. The process moved very quickly and I was invited for an interview with two hiring managers 2-3 days later. They were flexible with the times available, which is always good for someone who is working. The interview with the hiring managers went on for about an hour as they really wanted to get to know what you exactly did in your last job. The people who work at the nonprofit seem very down-to-earth and kind, and it is definitely a stretch role where you'll have to take on responsibilities beyond your own role. However, for the amount of work and the size of the company, the position seems severely underpaid. The questions that were asked were typical interview questions, nothing that will throw you off. However, I did sense that they are very cautious and looking for someone who comes from a similar environment, company size, and have been doing the same things day in and day out. For an entry level role, it seemed like too much and too inflexible since I had a lot of work experience already. Overall, I felt confident with the interview and my experience, but didn't feel the role was the right fit for me or a good career leap.
