Applied through job portal, received phone call from recruiter very quickly. Scheduled an in person interview almost 2 weeks later. It was very casual and lacked details about where to park, which door to enter, who will meet me at the door, etc. very confusing. Met with manager, seemed unprepared, did not have any notes, did not make eye contact and was often looking off into the distance like they were not focusing on me talking. There were no behavioral questions which I was mostly prepared for and instead met with questions that I felt were not the best at identifying a candidate's skills. I took a tour of the facility immediately after the interview and I had to suit up and I was concerned they were ok with me wearing high heels; I'm coming from a different industry that is more safety focused, I would advise future tours not allow any high heels as there's a risk of injury/falling. I emailed them for an update at about 3 weeks and was told they would have an answer soon; they couldn't even bother to address my name in the email which I think is telling. I never received an email rejection, just a rejection from the job portal at about the 1 month mark. Overall a disappointing experience, there's much to improve in their interviewing questions as well as the admin's communication to candidates on the interview location, address, parking, etc.
