      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at The Salvation Army in May 2022

      Interview

Spring 2022 - I interviewed via video with the Direct Supervisor and Philanthropy lead. The following day, I received a call asking about salary expectations and was notified I would be contacted to schedule a 2nd interview. After no contact for a month, I asked for a status update, an was then asked to visit for an in person interview with the same individuals as the video. A week later I had a video interview with the territory manager. It has been 6 weeks since without any follow up and nearly 4 months since my first interview. Concerns: The local staff were very awkward when mentioning the position does not allow work from home as the territory manager requires all staff to operate out of the office without exception. The territory manager interviewed as if this were a major gifts officer position, however the actual position is focused on solicitation of lower to mid-level donations.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is the largest gift you've solicited and secured? How much money have you raised in your career, how much of that was major gifts?
