I applied online. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Darmstadt)
Interview
First round: telephone interview, questions about marketing, sales and the technology which I was supposed to sell. Very nice and friendly interview. Second Round, headquarter 3 Interviewers, 2 Experts, 1 HR. Very nice atmosphere, many questions about marketing and sales again, not so much about the product background.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Pittsburgh, PA) in Apr 2026
Interview
The process was long but not difficult. Everyone was very responsive. I did not receive an offer, but it was nice to make connections. The entire process took like 3 months.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Sep 2025
Interview
Professional, until it wasn't.
Background: applied to a Technical Sales Specialist for a CapEx product in their suite of instruments WITH AN INTERNAL REFERRAL.
Process: talent management screening phone call and interview with hiring manager (HM) was easy, timely, and done without any drama. Interviewed with 2 additional supervisors that work closely with the HM.
Followed up a week later after last interview for feedback. No response.
Followed up again 1.5 weeks later. No response.
Reached out to talent manager for clarification, said they are meeting with HM soon and will update me.
2 weeks after interview STILL no response.
If I didn't get the offer, just tell me. It's being professional and communicating your decision without ghosting an internal referral candidate.
Why work for a company that can't bother to write up an email that takes 5 minutes?

I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Rodano)
Interview
