I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Carlsbad, CA) in Oct 2023
Interview
It was a phone interview. Asked basic questions on why ThermoFisher, my motivation for R&D, and some logistical and work visa questions. Overall, went very smoothly. The interview also began with a quick introduction of the company.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Singapore) in May 2025
Interview
Good. Basically was checking my general interest towards the research and development field, and asked some of the basic backgroud information from my university education. Then gave me some brief overview of this job and what am I going to do.
Heard back very quickly after applying. Interviewers were friendly and questions were straightforward; went through two rounds of interviews with managers of teams that were accepting interns. Overall a very good experience!
