I applied online. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Singapore)
Interview
Overall Process: Took 4 weeks. The interview process is a standard industry practice. Nothing new or difficult like having a take home assessment or live coding.
- Recruiter > Hiring Manager (first round of technical interview) > Other senior team members (second round of technical interview) > Head of Department (third round of interview - non technical).
Summary:
- Interviews were quite detailed and about 1 hour long each. Interviewers were nice and friendly, they will make you comfortable as well as getting to know you better. You can get to know them as well at the end of each interview.
- Interview is mix of general technical questions and deep dive into resume and past experience.
- I declined the offer as I was LOW-BALLED despite having some experience. The compensation offered is on the lower side or market end.
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Thermo Fisher Scientific (Bengaluru) in May 2026
Interview
Great smooth process clear communication. Great team working in the cutting edge tech stack. Questions will be more centered around projects and application level brainstorming on architecture level ideation. They are looking for an all rounder with specialising in some key tech stack
Went for the interview through campus placement. Interview was offline and conducted at their office. The first round consisted of questions on coding, dbms and projects mentioned in resume. Interviewers were helpful.
Interview was straightforward and pleasant as far as software interviews go. Group interview with the team who then reviews and comes to a collective decision on whether to hire you.
