Sent in CV and cover letter by email. Received a reply after a few days to arrange a phone interview. Phone interview was pretty straight forward: what does the company do, why do you want to work for Cognolink, what relevant past experience do you have, where do you see yourself in 2 years time etc. Lasted about 10-15 minutes and was with very friendly member of HR team. Got a response a couple days later saying that my skilled were not best matched to the role and they would not be furthering my application.

Dont let them trick you into thinking this is an actual research position. You will be cold calling people most of your day. The interview process is relatively simple, first spoke with a recruiter who passed me onto an in-person round. I never heard from them after that.

Had an interview for Forum role in Hongkong. Straightforward interview. The recruiter was very pleasant and nice, she was very professional. Prepare for your understanding of the role, although she was very nice in explaining the role in details, you knew it’s a major concern if you have no idea about the position youre applying. She also provides transparent feedback which I really appreciates. Not all companies or recruiters do the same. I always see this recruiter in job fairs and she’s overall nice and very accommodating. I would recommend trying an interview as it will change your perspective about the company and the role.
