I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (New York, NY) in Jan 2012
Interview
It's a tough interview, mainly b/c I didn't prep for the subjects they were asking.
They asked about how to write a program with classes to simulate real life objects. That was easy.
Then they went on to ask about Big O notation and its complexities and use them to optimize your approach to a solve a problem.
If I knew they were going to ask about that, I would have been in a better situation.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
find common numbers in 2 arrays of integer, try to use O(N).
The process is very smooth, and HR are cooperative until you are being considered; after that, they won't reply to you Email.
HackerRank - MCQ + Some output/debugging
Recruiter Phone Screen - Exp + job fit
Manager Review-
Hiring Manager Interview-About your experience and resume-based questions
Technical Interview (Live Coding and/or System Design and/or Technical Presentation) - 2 rounds simultaneously on the same day.
Coding - it was a medium question - I prepared a LeetCode-style question, but they asked a competitive type of question (I was able to figure out the logic but not the code)
System Design round is based on the project that you have done, and then they expand it by adding more functionality. RAG Questions about Chunking, etc., overall workflow of the cloud.
Job Fit Interview - Didn't pass the last round, so not sure.
I asked for feedback multiple times, but HR didn't respond. I was sick for one of the interviews, and they were very helpful with rescheduling.

Interview questions [1]
Question 1
About AWS services like EC2, S3, CLOUD WATCH, lambda
The worst experience I have ever had with any company. I applied for a role in August, I initially started the process with a recruiter and when through the initial call. Got a rejection said the role was filled. A week later the role was reposted. I got in touch again and we restarted the process.
We did another HR/Recruiter screening, and then entered a loop where their Polish based (outsourced?) Talent Partner don't even have Calendly links to share. After 3-4 weeks trying to schedule a call with the hiring manager, we finally found a slot.
On the day of the interview, no one joined.
Absolutely outrageous and unprofessional. Suffice to say, you must be desperate for a job to be willing to get through their interview process.
