It was a referral and I was asked to come for the face-to-face interview. Discussion went just for 5 minutes and when I told my current CTC, the interviewer was in shock! As if I said something weird. The interviewer told me that they do not have sufficient budget to give me salary increment on my current CTC as my current itself was a huge amount (as per interviewer). I was like what?! Is this really an interview for the position at Thomson Reuters? I mean if you guys don’t have budget for hiring experienced candidates, please don’t invite them for the interview and waste their time. I was so disappointed as I had spent 3 hours in traveling, battling with Bangalore traffic! I’ve decided to never apply again for Thomson Reuters.
