      Interview

3 rounds of interviewing, the people were very welcoming and asked relatively basic questions. They want to know why you would choose TR over other companies. They did a great job at going in-depth with what the program will offer you.

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Eagan, MN) in Nov 2019

      Interview

A couple weeks after I had applied I received an email that the company was interested. I then had 48 hours to complete an online interview, where a question popped up on the screen and then you were given 60 seconds to think before it began to record audio and video of your response. I believe there was five questions, which were all pretty general interview questions, such as "Why do you want to work for Thomson Reuters." It was a bit awkward to not have a person talking back to you and I thought I had blown it. Several weeks later, I received an invitation to the marketing intern interview day. I then attended this at the office in Eagan, MN. There was about 30 interns present as well as 10 that were not able to attend but still seeking the job. The day consisted of an office tour, a presentation and activity regarding company culture, and three interviews with employees in the marketing division. There was also a lunch that employees attended with the potential interns that allowed for informal conversations. At the end of the day, we wrote down what marketing roles we were most interested in if offered an internship. Then we were told we would be contacted within the next few weeks whether or not we were offered a job. The next evening I received a call from Thomson Reuters and was offered the job!
