I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Mumbai) in Feb 2016
Interview
You are given 3 forms at reception:
1. Application with photo, experience, education, previous and expected CTC
2. Referral Form for your friends...
3. Feedback form (Which they didn't collect)
You do 2 tests (max 2 hours):
1. Document Review test (legal)
2. English Writing Test.
HR interview after successful document review test. HR explains the pay (20k per month).
They ask about your experience (from resume), background. They ask to quantify your work experience (I did internships and part time work). They might also if you can verify your resume.
Then they ask about your family and if you live locally. This is a highly unethical question and illegal in western countries. It is irrelevant to the job but HR probably uses it to select candidates willing to work for cheap.
After the HR interview, you wait to see if you're called for further interviews. If not, HR politely says "You're done for the day, ___ will get in touch with you regarding the rest of the interview process".
This is HR code for rejection. They leave you in suspense. Your interview is not postponed. You are done.
Thank you very much for taking the time to provide feedback about your experience.
